Though there is nothing official yet, and LSU coach Johnny Jones did not return a message seeking comment, three sources independently confirmed Wednesday that Jones is poised to hire Treloar to fill the void on Jones' coaching staff left when Eric Musselman departed to take the head-coaching spot at Nevada.
Trelor, a native of Clinton, Miss., was the head coach of the Erie Bay Hawks from 2008-2010 in the NBDL after leaving LSU in 2008. He has served as Director of Player Personnel for the Phoenix Suns from 2008-2015.
