ESPN reporter Britt McHenry was eating dinner in Arlington, Virginia on Sunday, April 5th, when her car was towed. She then tweeted about it...

Just got towed after eating dinner at an establishment in Arlington. How corrupt is Advanced Towing?

Then this went down...

She recently tweeted this apology...
quote:

“In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things. As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.”
Now ESPN has spoken...
quote:

n ESPN spokesman tells TBL: “We are aware of a recent exchange between Britt McHenry and a towing company employee. We are now reviewing the matter with her.”

What happens if Jesus Christ is preparing a mansion in heaven where both of these ladies are going to be living together for all eternity? Surely they will be able to get along with each other. They will have glorified bodies so maybe the uneducated towing clerk will have a hotter glorified body than the educated TV reporter.

Pretty regrettable comments, but anyone who gives a shite about the feelings of anyone affiliated with a towing "service" has never lived in DC (or many major cities). I've been towed one and a half times in a little over a year. Both times in excess of $700 unrecoverable dollars was in damage was caused. The "half" time, they towed it from a perfectly legal spot, hitched in wrong, Damon near tore off the rear bumper, and left it angled out into the street about half a block down. I actually had the police open an investigation but none of the nearby businesses had working cameras and no one they interviewed cop to calling a company, so they were only able to narrow it down to three who work the area, but never prove who actually did it. I've never met anyone affiliated with a towing service who wasn't a shite bag. What other private a-hole feels entitled to cart of $30K of someone else's property. frick that clerk.

It wasn't a parking attendant, it was someone who worked for a towing company that towed her car from the restaurant she was eating at. Anyone who has ever dealt with a company like Riverside Towing knows her frustration and what crooks they are. There was NOTHING wrong with what she said to that thief. NOTHING!

I lived in Arlington. The tow trucks hid behind bushes, as soon as you round the corner they snatch it. One time I was towed there after following the signs to the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot held 200+ cars, only one other car was in the lot. I parked in the correct lot, but non in the correct aisle apparently. Cost me $350 cash. I was only gone a min and my taxi beat the tow truck driver to the location. Such a shady and BS business. Louisiana tow companies are choir boys compared to Virgina.

Towing companies are the worst of the worst. Right above criminal defense lawyers. Hard for me to feel sorry for them.

If you have to choose between Britt McHenry being a little bitchy for being exhorted for $500+ on a Sunday night and a tow company troll, you have to choose Britt. Tow companies are pure evil. McHenry's mistake was not heeding her warning that she would send the video out. I would love to see the reaction for anyone making anti-McHenry comments if they had their car towed on a Sunday night and had to pay some gross women behind a chain link fence $500+ to get their vehicle back.
