Congrats DeVonta!

The #Eagles have paid another big-time, rising player. This time, WR DeVonta Smith gets a 3-year, $75M contract extension that includes $51M guaranteed, sources say.

The deal was done by @kelt_crenshaw of @KlutchSports, and it keeps Smith in PHI for years to come.

It's impressive what he has accomplished, given how short he is for a WR

One of those guys quit on his team because he’s a pussy. The other one won a Heisman and a National Championship.

Real talk, if Bama had a player literally quit on his team for an entire season, for pretty much no reason at all, I’d just as soon never acknowledge him. Certainly wouldn’t suck him off on the internets. That’s weird.

Will the guy on the right bring back the glory to Bama in 2024? 2017 is a long time removed from a national championship.

Edit: I’ve just been informed that Nick Saban retired and was replaced by a guy who wasn’t on his top 3. Very sad.

Bama fans don't seem to mind that Kadyn Proctor quit on them.

Must be fine if it's the offseason.

Yeah, having a player quit and return during the offseason is completely the same as quitting on the team for an entire season.

Ya know, when practices and games are actually happening.

55-17 BAMA in Baton Rouge. Wishing won't change that scoreboard.

Would have been cool to see Chase in an LSU uniform for another season, but I understand his choice, and Chase was not the only opt out. There were many. Which is one of several reasons why no one will ever acknowledge that season as anything more than a fitting symbol of 2020. Once the female kickers start playing, you know that no one cared about that season.

Did Bama even play that year? I seriously can’t remember, and I can’t find any info on AskJeeves. I’ll settle for your word on it but please don’t lie to me.
