Basketball-The Hump very nice after the recent renovations.
The concourse areas of the Hump are very nice, I agree. Inside the coliseum still feels extremely dated.

Jordan Hare doesn't belong in the same sentence as these stadiums. All 3 of these stadiums have undergone significant renovations and improvements. Jordan Hare has not.
Agreed. I thought the atmosphere at Jordan Hare was excellent but was not impressed by the stadium itself whatsoever.

That may be the worst thing I have ever read and factually incorrect.

Only stat that matters.

Again, there are structural issues with all three of those that renovations can’t fix.
Seats in Tuscaloosa are much further away from the field due to the rounded shape plus the track. Every lower deck seat in Tuscaloosa is on average 10-15 feet further from the field because of that worthless track. The fact that there is no interior walkway around the stadium sucks. The concourse areas are congested and dated. The new upper decks in the end zone are horrifically high.
If we are comparing club seats, yes, Bama’s are nicer and there are more of them. But for a bleacher seat in the lower bowl, or an upper deck seat, Auburn’s stadium is much nicer and has a better atmosphere IMO.

You are not wrong here. I sat there once and almost hit the deck during the flyover. It's most definitely worth the extra money to sit anywhere in the lower level. At least you feel like you're actually at the game and not watching it from the international space station.

I'd say Tennessee isn't in top half of "nicest" in any sport.

The old-school upper decks aren’t as bad. I sat around the 50-yard line in the upper deck during the Covid Iron Bowl, safely distanced from all other fans.
It’s just the new ones that are so, so high.

For Ole Miss basketball arena and baseball stadium are certainly top half. Football, while the atmosphere has improved tremendously, the stadium itself is probably fighting with Mizzou Kentucky, and State for 2nd worst only ahead of Vandy. They had plans for a huge upgrade tearing down the entire West side and rebuilding from the ground up, but Kiffin nixed it and asked for donations to go to the Manning Center and NIL

True. I still much prefer anywhere in the lower level outside of the first 3-4 rows where you can't see over the sideline...but the side upper decks, especially the front several rows, aren't too bad. But you need a grappling hook to reach those upper deck end zone seats.

If the criteria is "nicest," in football, that's going to be Kyle Field. 60% of the seats built in 2014-15, 80% of the concourses date from that renovation, and the rest from 1999.
I have not been to any SEC basketball venues except Reed, so I will pass on that. Reed seems to be kind of middle of the pack, but I couldn't say more than that.
For baseball, I haven't been to Missouri, Tennessee, Ole Miss or Auburn. Of the ones that I have been to, I'd say that State, South Carolina and Florida are the "nicest." There are other nice parks to the point it would almost be easier to identify who does not have a nice park, and for me that is Missouri and Vandy (OU will be in this group next year). Not sure where to put Tennessee, but they are improving that park.

I was blown away at how dated and crappy The Swamp was.
I liked Sanford more than The Swamp but still kinda dated.
Jordan Hare is alright.

Baseball for sure, basketball probably, definitely not football. Vaught-Hemingway is due for an upgrade.

Football and baseball, yes. Basketball, absolutely not.

UGA's Sanford Stadium would be in the top half for football arenas. Basketball and baseball, I don't think so.
On second thought, UGA's Stegeman Coliseum (basketball) has been greatly improved both outside and inside. I especially love its looks on the outside.....sorta like a giant flying saucer that's just landed (you UFO weirdo's would love it).

Very wise....Texas fans are learning that....you don't mess with SEC folks. Now, that you're part of us, get used to the family night at the fights.

UT's BB is pretty nice being on the river. Neyland is still an erector set, though.
