By program I think it’s Tennessee.
By fan base I would think it’s LSU.

Bama
Bama

Most of the fans (younger than my old self) don’t understand what it will be like to be a mid-tier program..

Probably Mississippi State.

Not only did he beat them 16 years in a row, but because of Alabama's success, now Mississippi State fans think they have the right to talk just by association

We loved Saban when he was here, brought us a championship. It was the best job he ever had.

Meh, as an LSU fan I’ve been satisfied with our success. Saban did much more good for LSU than bad. And honestly, his being in the west probably spurred LSU to continue investing in the program and moving forward.

After the way his retirement went, it may turn out to be Bama.

I would say Alabama.

With his retirement Alabama will surely get worse and probably have the worst years of play ahead of them.

Saban

The sooner you Bammers realize that cheating, sawed-off cocksucker is gone, the better off you will be.

All of the SECW teams were negatively affected by Saban. Look at the massive amount of turnover in head coaches over the last 15 years. Aub 5, OM 4, Arky 5, A&M (11 years) 3, LSU 3, State 6. Now some of that was by other circumstances but mostly it was trying to raise our own bars to match Bama.
And for the most part we all failed with a single exception of Auburn and LSU.
Going forward Bama will still be Bama and good but the intimidation factor is now gone.

An argument could be made for Florida. We beat Bama for the 2008 SEC Championship and went on to win the Natty. Saban then went full salted earth revenge tour and knocked us off the throne in 2009 and we have never recovered.

Definitely LSU. Take away playing Bama and the Vols still don't play in the SEC title game over 16 seasons.

2008: 4-4 instead of 3-5
2009: 5-3 instead of 4-4
2010: 4-4 instead of 3-5
2011: 2-6 instead of 1-7
2012: 2-6 instead of 1-7
2013: 3-5 instead of 2-6
2014: 4-4 isntead of 3-5
2015: 6-2 instead of 5-3 (East winner was 7-1)
2016: 5-3 instead of 4-4 (East winner was 6-2)
2017: 1-7 instead of 0-8
2018: 3-5 instead of 2-6
2019: 6-2 instead of 5-3 (East winner was 7-1)
2020: 4-6 instead of 3-7
2021: 5-3 instead of 4-4
2022: beat Bama but still lost to SCar and 8-0 UGA
2023: 5-3 instead of 4-4

He was great for Bama but they will look back and say we had to roll with it but he put us in a bad situation the way he left.

When Tennessee is up, GUMP is down.

When GUMP is up, Tennessee is down.

Some things never change (which is why GUMP is so worried about NICO and want desperately for him to be ruled ineligible lol)
