I would agree, but I don't see Bama getting outbid. If Bama is where he wants to go, then my guess is that we make sure it stays that way.

Some guys aren’t after the highest offer. If you want to play for Bama he could be content still getting a nice payday. See Kadyn Proctor.
Would you rather take 1 mil and play for the school you want or take 3 mil and play for the school you don’t want? 1 mil is still life changing money and his real pay day will be in the NFL. Btw I’m just using random examples when it comes to dollar amount.

Jaleel Skinner visiting Auburn. J-Ski going to get that double up.

I think we are saying the same thing... I agree.
1. If all the other factors point to him wanting to play football at Bama, then
2. The money won't be the reason we lose him, because it may not be a dealbreaker and we can bid with anyone in the country.

Just my opinion but if you're committed to a school and then don't sign when you have the opportunity during the early signing period then you aren't really committed. If you weren't still making up your mind you'd go ahead and sign and be done with it.

I kinda agree. Playing devil's advocate, this kid is treated like royalty with every visit he takes. Why would you not let everyone roll out the red carpet for you? Especially back in highschool

On a different note, saw were a State representative is trying to get a NIL bill passed that would allow AL hs kids to receive money while still in hs...I know Missouri has something like this.

I honestly think NIL needs to be reigned in, not cut lose... why don't we start paying middle schoolers and REC league
College Football, currently, is one of the only sports with no salary caps, spending limits, etc... all professional sports have this, and college should too.

Don’t like that RW’s last OV is to Aub.

None of that is set in stone. And anyone claiming otherwise is just continuing to perpetuate this fan created drama.

What I find kind of hilarious is how they’re like “I just want to take my time and make the right decision” like they can’t just reverse it, hop in the portal to rebid for their services, and go somewhere else 12 months from now
Most of these kids already thinking they’re only going to be in school 3 years anyway, why pretend like the time is anything other than just seeing who is making the best cash offer

Williams said he expects to sign on his birthday, Feb. 9 and finish high school in May. He said he will not run track in the spring. Auburn coaches Philip Montgomery, Marcus Davis and Zac Etheridge were at the news conference held at Saraland High, but Williams said he is still committed to Alabama.

Whatever happens I'll enjoy watching Bama beat the ef out of Auburn in T town next year. I hope Cam Coleman and Perry are on the field for the barn when it happens.

That would be funny. If these kids are letting Freeze sell them on early playing time, they may be in for a rough year next year.

Man I'm glad I cancelled my sub for paid recruiting sites. It's worthless.
Tim Watts and Bone are on YT saying they knew he was going to reclassify for a while now but didn't want to ruin his moment...I'm sure they did know but anyone can claim that after the fact. What's the point of paying a monthly sub when you don't get the info?

I cancelled mine about 2 years ago. The 'premium info' is either already public knowledge, or just a bunch of speculation. The recruits will have their visits posted on IG / Facebook / Twitter before these guys post it in a premium article

Alabama should have sent a coach to his announcement; unless they weren't invited.

It depends on how many in-person contacts have already been made. You can't do unlimited.

They hinted at it for months on BOL. No one is claiming after the fact.
This is why this shite continues to build into drama. Because no one listens.
