Most of your good Arkansas teams had been composed of being undersized but were still good college players. Previous Arkansas head coaches overlooked them.
Also the city of Osceola was able to lure a U.S Steel mill plant that has given the community 900 jobs and an average salary of $100,000 a year.

Sounds like if districts are having money issues maybe ya'll need to start paying more taxes. Or just maybe SHS shouldn't have bought that expensive arse podium.
There is growing evidence that perhaps a relatively poor state like Arkansas can't afford a fairly rich governor like SHS. Whether you lean Republican, Democrat, or the Raving Monster Loony Party, SHS likes to live high on the hog.

I'm just saying that more money needs to be pumped into public schools for teacher salaries.... forcing a minimum salary and then not sustaining the money to fund them is absolutely ridiculous.

Paying more in taxes will not solve the problem. The city of Helena can't even get clean drinking water. 90% are on some type of government assistance and the other 10% is the old money. They have no tax revenue to draw from and that leaves you with no middle class that can balance the economic stability of the city.
The state can throw all the money that want at them but it will continue to go into the pockets of crooked politicians. And they will continue to ask more but not all of that money is going where it should be going.

Poor 'lil ole Arky
Let's do a comparison just for shits and giggles.
Saraland, Al has roughly the same population as Van Buren, Ar. Van Buren went 5-7 overall and 3-5 in conference but still #25 in Arkansas
Saraland HS finished #4 in the state of Alabama. A suburb of Mobile predominantly 80% white
Arkansas businesses donate 1k for a sign while Alabama high school donors dump large amounts of money to their respective HS football programs.
And ya'll wonder why Arkansas football sucks
I'm sure the Metcalf boys will bail after Titboss shits the season away.
Clay-Chalkville is a beast of a program
We can do poor arse Mississippi next if you wish.

SHS killed Arkansas high school football.
For some reason I thought SHS meant Springdale high school. I couldn’t figure out how they were causing that much trouble….haha.

I thought at first it stood for Sheridan high school.
Also if anyone didn't know is that Sheridan hired former Pulaski Academy coach Kevin Kelley back in December.
Sheridan has been known as a graveyard for coaches.
