The schools that pay the most in pay for play will never have a winning “team” culture. How can an 18 year old kid buy into the team and working at his craft when rich boosters are giving him lambo’s and life changing money just to sign? Where’s the incentive to get better? So far, A&M, Miami, Orego...

re: How good is UNC?

Posted by GeauxLSU4 on 5/27/24 at 2:11 pm
I expect UNC to be on par with a lot of the teams we’ve played this year. Tennessee, Arkansas, A&M and Kentucky are all similarly rated. We’ll have to play well to win. ...

re: Wofford by the numbers

Yeah it’s hard to tell if they really hit that well or if it’s a product of their schedule. We should be able to mash pretty easily against them. With Gage or Holman throwing, I expect us to do well. ...

I can confirm this. Top of the hill is kind of like their version of the chimes. Franklin street is pretty cool as well. I’m jealous I can’t make it back there for this weekend. ...

I bet Tanks is licking his chops to go back to Raleigh. ...

If it’s a strained lat, I doubt he pitches next weekend. Those need a couple of weeks to get over. ...
Will revenue sharing level out the NIL advantages?
I believe it will. Even the wealthiest of schools have donors that will eventually grow tired of forking out money every year for college kids to play ball. Those wealthy people are wealthy for a reason and don’t spend money foolishl...

I want to see Cam Johnson. There’s not a lot of pressure to win right now and maybe he’ll find something that can be valuable in the postseason much like little did a few weeks ago. ...
Is he still a threat to go in the MLB draft out of high school? I know he wants to play both in college. ...
Respectfully, you have no idea what’s being spent or not. Quit being a douche. I’m surprised Ohio State is out. They were supposedly his leader for a while. Seems like we’ll battle Texas here. Hopefully the dad angle plays in our favor. ...

re: Harlem Berry Comparison

I’m not arguing who’s better, but Simon could have committed for a long time and didn’t do it. Lindsey is highly thought of and was ready to commit. If reports are true of Simon getting pissed we took Lindsey’s commitment, he needs to get over that shite. We need multiple backs in this class and like...

Simon had months to commit and wouldn’t pull the trigger. He can’t get pissy if they take a commit from someone as talented as Lindsey. Not sure what else the staff was supposed to do. ...
That’s kind of a bummer. I’m sure he has a legit reason but everyone would still like to see him compete in that setting with the best QB’s in the country. ...

[link=(https://n.rivals.com/content/athletes/reggie-bush-3616?view=pv)]LINK[/link] Reggie and Harlem are very similar in size coming out of high school. Reggie got up to around 205 his last year of college. Harlem can do the same thing. ...
I’d really like to see us make a big push for CJ Wiley. His film is really impressive and the fact that he’s a legacy should give us some kind of advantage. We get his second to last visit this summer on 6/14. Hopefully we can overtake UGA as his leader. ...
They are going after Moore, Lockett, and Ffrench. Then also supposedly lead for 5 star ATH Michael Terry
Sounds similar to Bama signing Devonta, Ruggs, and Jeudy in the same class with Waddle coming in the next class. That was pre NIL and portal though. There’s next to no chance all...
frick Hagen Smith. We should have beaten him last matchup when we were playing shitty baseball. ...
The allure of playing with Bryce Underwood will attract good receivers along with our track record of producing NFL talent. ...
Jetts was a late bloomer physically and emotionally. He was very immature at Destrehan but between his freshman and sophomore year at LSU, he took off. He was always a smooth route runner, but he became polished in college when he got a lot stronger. ...
