Yep. Texas high school track and field has always had some of the top times going back to the 1980's when I was in high school. I remember when a kid, Roy Martin, ran a blazing 10.13 100m dash in the mid 80's. That was mind blowing back then....

That one loss to Georgia, 9-10, in the 1984 Cotton Bowl cost Texas the National Title and gave the National Title to Miami, FL. Painful loss! ...
