The front played easier than the Back 9. Will not matter in match play, but for stroke play with spit tees, it allowed for both swings. Auburn i believe was 9 over on back and 4 under on the front 9. ...

The two most successful teams over the last 5 years have been Bama and Auburn. Won 4 championships each and have gone to a final 4 each. The state of Alabama has dominated the SEC. ...

since Auburn beat Kentucky in the Elite Eight in 2019, Kentucky is 1-3 in the NCAA Tournament with losses to Saint Peters (15 seed) and Oakland (14 seed) — Kentucky is also just 1-4 in SEC Tournament games
