[quote]I'm trying to work my way down from a backpack.
Last trip I didn't have one on the whole time. It was pretty great. I bought pretty small cell chargers I could carry and that was it.

Travel Slings For European Travel
Posted by Nole Man on 5/27/24 at 12:57 pm
Thread can be about men or women.
Sling bags are an increasing choice for European travel. They offer convenience, security, and style. Alternative to the traditional day pack. Or in men's cases in Europe, "The Man Purse"!
Anyone using them? Thoughts?

re: For those who have visited Italy

[quote]I want to ask this question beginning with the caveat that my opinion is just that and nothing more, and to try and get why I may be wrong.
Why is Florence so great?
I have to be honest, I really didn’t like it. It was crowded, touristy, quiche, and just not for me.

Mainly train.
Must sees:
1. Florence. One of the greatest cities in the world.
2. Rome. Went after many years. Didn't really like it the first time. This time (a couple of years ago) it was much more enjoyable.
3. Orvieto. Visit it on the way down to Rome from Florence on the train....

Thoughts...
Not really, but for most it really depends on your stage of your career in terms of investment vehicles, amounts etc. People closer to retirement age tend to avoid significant positions in the market out of fear of a correction and not being able to recover if it happens. They'll div...

Coulda been me (if I'd taken that bag on an international flight, which I wouldn't have because it's a gym bag, but you ge...

[quote]Yes, I check it. There's a few things I like but the different compartment for storage is a big one. The large bottom slot if good for clothes I want to fold in half to reduce wrinkling.
