Key Largo - Key West Road Trip

Posted by slacker130 on 5/27/24 at 1:40 pm
The Mrs (no pics) have a week sans the kid and we've planned a road trip to Key Largo (2 nights) and a house boat in Key West (2 nights). Any must see, must eat, must drink things we need to know?...
I did a flyby in an airshow that the Blues were the main event. I got passes for my fam to sit in the Blue Angels' VIP area. It was pretty awesome and my boy was at the age that he thought I hung the moon that day. Grew up around P'cola and played soccer with some Blues' kids back in the day....
I checked oil and level was fine. I dont recall there being a sensor.
Not familiar with the mower, what motor is on it? I own a generator that I couldn't start for anything. After much cussing and hours of trouble shooting, finally unplugged the oil level sensor and it fired ri...
Just found out insurance is paying for the roof. I'll check the savings if I go with a class IV. My roofer is quoting me GAF Timberline HDZ shingles, I'll get a quote on the class IV equivalent. Not sure if there will be that large of a savings because I'm not in a high wind area...
Add a zero to the settlement and jail time for those cops. All those thinking, that wouldn't ever happen to me, have never been in the situation. Trained interrogators manipulate exhausted, stressed, mentally fragile people, into confessions daily. I had the pleasure of a 3 day stay in a s...

Was it running with the old coil? ETA- reread and saw "lost spark." So obviously not running. Could it be a seat switch or oil level switch? ...
I’m generally inclined to believe officers in most instances.
I had cops lie multiple times to me or about me or in court, growing up. They aren't there to help you. They're there to arrest or ticket regardless of most circumstances. My hometown the cops harassed the shite o...
She straight ups says she threw rocks
There's clearly a difference between a situation of her, picking up a rock from her porch and tossing it into the flower bed by her door, or her picking up a rock and throwing it in the officers' direction. All avoidable if she treated th...
If she has a camera that shows her tossing some rocks into the yard and not toward those officers....there will be lawyers.
I'm not defending this girl, first of all. But, my guess is the camera will show that she didn't throw rocks at the cops. Why would she be screaming...
I'd also like to see the porch cam and alleged rock throwing. There's always a chance that she's an idiot and cop is a dick. They don't have to be mutually exclusive. ...

re: This Generator Grew Legs

Posted by slacker130 on 5/18/24 at 12:17 pm
Brings back Katrina flashbacks. Every time my generator would run out of gas, I'd come running out with a .357 expecting to find someone trying to liberate my Honda. Luckily, it was always just an empty tank that caused the generator to stop and not some "at risk" youths....
any spots we’re missing?
We've been going to SGI for over 20 years. There's really no spot that you'd be "missing" in my opinion. We generally cook every night, save 2 or so. We'll hit the Blue Parrot for overpriced, marginal sea food, and maybe grab a pizza at some point. ...
