I just think Trump can do better......
How old is Pelosi now? At what point does she realize she is as old as f..k, how much money does she need? Is it all a game? Sad thing is, we know the answer- she enjoys the money as much as, if not more than life itself! And yet, as worthless of a human being she is, dumb Lib voters will re-elect...
Calling McCain a great Senator is like calling Obama the most conservative POTUS ever! We have McCain to thank for Obama! The RINOs picked the ultimate Bush candidate, offering same old nothing against a younger candidate that could speak well and offered change, which swayed American voters. People...
Beth was one win away from Softball World Series...she probably bought herself another year or two. That being said, she will never win a Championship at LSU. ...
Yep, going back to NOLA next month for my 50th reunion...simply mind bogling how time has gone by!! You don't want to think or believe you are just plain flat out old!...
You can't be serious...can you?? :rotflmao: :rotflmao:...
If that doesn't help recruiting, I don't know what will! :wha: :geauxtigers:...
I love early live albums from the 60's & 70's. Today bands mostly play their albums note for note on stage. What I do enjoy is the amount of old live recordings being released that are being discovered on old tapes. But my favorite live album was a 1971 performance by the Pink Fairies called 'Finlan...

Gary Ratzlaff of Potliquor first played with The Basement Wall, an early Baton Rouge psych band, that were actually pretty good. They did some original songs and there is a CD released in the 80's of an old live show, where they do covers of 60's songs. Potliquor played at the Mar Y Sol festival in ...

I was 8 years old, had a chance to go see them at City Park Stadium in NOLA, but didn't go, still regret that! However, I can vouch for Beatlemania, it was insane! Saw the movie, 'Help!' at the show when it came out- the girls did not stop screaming the entire movie! Their influence was so widely f...
Am I the only person that has never listened to a Taylor Swift song? I do buy hoards of albums/cd's, so a few TS CD's are in my numbers, will sit down in a few weeks to give a couple of them an 'objective' listening......
How about 8 Track car player? Iggy and the Stooges first album, Deep Purple- 'Book of Taliesyn' and Traffic- 'Last Exit'. I think when I finally got a car cassette player first tape was an old copy of Best of the Amboy Dukes....

Would have loved to see the Stones one more time, I did see them twice in the 70's, but ticket prices are just getting ridiculous. It's amazing they are still making great music 60 years later!! Sad for my wife, she never got a chance to see them......
I remember the Kingfish- saw the Ramones there, opening act was the Runaways with Lita Ford and Joan Jett. Also saw Lou Reed there with opening act, Ian Dury and the blockheads. I should have gone to the Sex Pistols show, but oh well, decided not to go......
The shows I recall seeing there in the 70's- Pink Floyd Led Zeppelin The Who/Toots and the Maytals Rolling Stones George Benson/Gil Scott-Herron ...
It's difficult to mention just one, but looks like most of the prime candidates I would consider were listed. Not sure, did anyone mention Frank Zappa? And speaking of Brian Wilson's brain, same could be said of Syd Barrett of Pink Floyd before LSD led him to be one of the first total acid casualtie...

This thread should be all about Hawkwind, they were basically the kings of space rock in the early 70's, starting with their 'In Search of Space' album. Pink Floyd's 'Astronomy Domine' from their first album with Syd Barrett. Can't forget 'Third Stone from the Sun' by Jimi Hendrix Experience. Should...
Without sounding racist or chauvinistic (and even if you think so, I don't care) but the idea of women and/or minorities becoming the dominant employment/management force in a business or corporation, simply does not work. I was in the professional world for 40 years, my younger wife is still in it....
Why care? They teach their kids how to stab Jews and Americans before the age of 4. Teach them how to shoot guns shortly after. They hate you. If you had the ability of critical thinking it might come to you to ask why none of Gaza's neighbors will take any refugees.
That has alway...
And that old bitch had to eat that shite burger with nothing to wash it down but her own pungent saliva.
Amazing how those in power like Nancy are so brainwashed and elite, no amount of facts will cause them to break their directive, they are truly evil!...
