Agree that the Hogs and Sooners could develop into a very good rivalry. I grew up in Fort Smith and have a special chip on my shoulder that makes me cringe everytime I see the OU logo.
Having said that, one of my kids completed a residency at OU and while there had two kids who will from herefort...

Arkansas became a state in 1836 well before Kansas entered just a few months before Lincoln's War in 1861. The indians there were the Kaw. This idea was given to Asa Hutchinson and he was able to quash it. He did give up Robert E. Lee Day as an official state holiday leaving only AL and MS with the guts to keep it....
