The Georgia senior class had the opportunity to win a record setting 50 games as a class and everyone who wasn't really injured played....

The split second that the ball changed its trajectory because of hitting the runner, it became impossible to tell if the 2nd baseman would have been able to field the ball had it not hit the runner.

At the 59 second mark a ball is hit and the Stanford base-runner is clearly hit by the ball.
The ball then glances at an angle away from the 2nd baseman moving to play the ball.

They can review their own calls at any time.
The discretion part of it lies in a request from one of the teams.
Pat Torino clearly knew that they had the ability to review the play and chose not to.
The umpires screwed LSU because it was obvious that the ball hit the runner....

I follow softball and they can review their own calls at any time. I've seen it done on several occasions.
