They got on base while facing Skenes, so if they score they count against him, no matter how inept the relief guy was..... and he was. Doesn't seem fair, but pretty sure that's the rule...

Me too. Been pulling for him forever! Great to see him finally become one of our best, dependable pitchers. I was just sorry for him that he wasn't able to finish off the game. Certainly understand why, but rhat would have been the icing on the cake for him. ...
