I don’t think this has anything to do with the “unwritten rules” of baseball. It has to do with this pitcher being an arse. An Indy 500 winner is assured of a place in history.
I concede that NASCAR, as fricked up as it is, is the healthier overall racing series.
Indy still reigns supreme as an event....

Like I said above, I think the only responsibility the PGA Tour or any other sports organization should rightfully have in a situation like this is to facilitate an athlete getting help if he or she seeks it. Doing welfare checks is something friends and family should handle.
