I’m not supporting being overweight or carrying some fat, but look at nature. Most animals that are older have more heft than a younger animal. Take whitetail deer, almost every 3-5 year old is bigger than a 1-2 year old. Stockier is not the same as fat. I left for college at 172 lbs but I was l...
What are you trying to do OP? Sandy Loam soil or something else? Clay? The main reason I ask is how hard you will be digging? Sometimes its easier and safer to just follow the line down from your house and then go from there. Conduit should be run from your home down to at least where it turn...

Are you in Louisiana? If you are somewhere like the keys and fish often in 200 ft or less on a larger boat then I think they make a lot of sense. They are more 1990s though, with spot lock trolling motors and auto pilot ability to use the outboards now to lock in place they just are kinda outdate...

They sell masonry paint as said the Sherwin Williams Loxon is one option. I have a commercial account due to some rental properties I buy a whopping like 10 gallons a year. I bought some Loxon about 2 weeks ago and it went from $89 to $39 with my ‘commercial account’. You may need an ein to set one ...
Thanks for the replies. I have a A/C guy coming by tomorrow and check things out.
I’m not saying never call anyone, but keeping a clear AC condensate line should be homeowner 101 very close to changing an air filter, plunging a toilet, replacing a toilet fill valve or flapper, e...
Sure it has. Along with paper cost, beverage cost, all insurances, repairs and maintenance No one is raising their prices to drive more profit, the margins are already slim and it’s necessary if you want to keep pace. Positive traffic is the driving force behind any successful FF place, no ...
You need to make sure you are using good fishing line and likely need to start out with 4lb leader. Some guys even use 2lb but if you are seeing big fish that’s probably too small. A decent quality 4lb Fluoro leader and hide the hook real well with either salmon eggs or corn usually works well. Thos...
Wonder what a tractor would cost if you priced every single part through the parts catalog
One of my ‘retirement’ gigs is to find a somewhat specialized industry and buy broken machines to part them out online. I know a guy that does this for depthfinders because old guys don’t lik...
Well you can't just leave home plate unattended.
Not true, catchers go to back up plays at 1st and 3rd all the time. This leaves home unattended. The 1st baseman should have went home. ETA: fluke plays happen, but this team left 2nd, 3rd, and home all unattended. They likely ar...
Very interesting. It looks like EJ Lagasse is only 21 or 22? Damn that's young, good for them if he is running it on his own now. Very impressive for someone that young. Given he's had everything needed provided to him but nonetheless that's some amazing food for that age....
My CPA has saved me so much money. From what you stated, you need a CPA. Its also a peace of mind that you are doing everything right regarding the IRS. Do you want a nasty-o-gram from the IRS saying you owe them back taxes? Nip it in the bud with a CPA, with a tax attorney being the last...
My tax situation is at least as complex as the OP’s and the firm I use annually charges around half of that amount. Been with them over a decade. NOLA/BR metro firm, ~ 6 offices
Absolutely. But you’ve been with them for years and that’s the annual cost. But the first year is goin...
Norm is hilarious but he’s also a jackass. Again, I have full sympathy for Murray’s family but outside of just being a sympathetic bitch for him to prove to me why we should all be sad? Suicide sucks and it’s depressing, but just like many other things in life we should stop sympathizing with...
I’m not on chexmix team but I find it interesting how suicide seemingly always brings sympathy to the victim. This guy blamed the pga for not taking care of him. I would never blame anyone but myself. “Well that was his demon”, ok fine. Well if you can never admit your own flaws as an adult than I r...
I do find it a little weird that his fiancée wasn’t mentioned by name.
I wouldn’t say it’s weird as much as it’s telling. If she was that close to the parents like most fiancé’s would be in a happy marriage, then she is likely mentioned in the top. Given the fact it’s not, my guess...

The point is that food cost hasn’t gone up that much. Labor cost has, but not THAT much. Fast food prices have increased well above avg inflation, or it appears so anyway. It’s also often times no longer ‘fast’...
Did it not have like a 19%+ interest rate to make up for the defaults? Seems like it would be a major get for any card dealer just with the amount of transactions that would be completed. ETA: are they still talking about self check out being Walmart+ customers only? Seems like they could offer f...
