I’ve done the same thing as Bapple. Once you have your generator running and all of your breakers are off, start by flipping just the AC breaker first. Set the thermostat as low as you can so it’s not stopping/starting constantly. Check the load on your generator as you flip breakers on other items...

Getting back on topic….as far as the jasmine goes, if you bought one of those galvanized raised bed planters, you could put a trellis or two in there to let the jasmine climb up the fence and under plant around it with some color like petunias or something that spills over the planter box. Absolutely. She’s also having the same issues with leaves in her pool. But I’m also trying to minimize our future headaches when it falls. Also she’s having some huge erosion problems with her pools decking since no grass is growing on the slope between the tree and her pool. I understand her desire...

My neighbor behind me to my east has a dual trunk water oak that’s shedding leaves right now like it’s fall. We’ve been here since 08 and have never seen it do this.
