From an OU fan's perspective though? Ooof! I thought you guys were a blueblood, above such desperate recruiting tactics.
OU honors their offers and also asks recruits to not commit til done shopping. So far it’s working and we have less portals than most. Can never eliminate portals but a good trend. They already have 1 commit for 27 class.

If you see offering a recruit's kid brother a scholarship to try to pull him to Norman as anything other than desperation, then it's not worth arguing with you. I assure you, we are not triggered by this at all. It's awesome.

He's just trying to spin it as a desperation move on our part because they were broadsided by it on his visit. Just laugh at him.

I think this will come down to LSU vs his favorite of TX, OU & MIZ. I kept thinking he would lock it down after each visit and it never happened.
Idk who his favorite is..
but let’s pretend it’s Texas vs LSU.

If history holds, he will go Texas as Bo isn’t a great recruiter.. but he is an elite developer.. funny how that works..
The Lambo deal in Austin is nice.. it’s probably not that expensive to lease one (with insurance for the year)
I’m guessing < $40,000 all in per year
Whoever wins this signing will be way above that.. this dude is a day. 1 or day 2 draft pick next year (top 3 rounds)..

He was always going to take all his visits and he said so, because he didn't take any coming out of HS and wanted to go through the process. Any belief that he was going to "shut things down after a visit" was never anything but pure fanfiction.
As to whom he eventually chooses to commit to, I have no idea. But I will say, we have a nationally known and respected DL developer coach as well. You know that right?

No, YOU don't even see that. Your amateur coaches got OG'd on Williams visit and you just don't want to admit it, so you're "desperately" trying to spin it. There's a reason it happened on his visit to shitsville, MO, and not on his texsa visit. Good try tho.....

I think this will be the case. Been my suspicion all along. But this comes purely from this observation:
When a recruit or portal player sets up a visit to LSU, Mizzou, or A&M after visiting OU, seems he nearly always picks one of those 3 and not OU.
