This. For folks to try to proclaim Florida as the ‘84 champions, then why not Auburn in 1993? Went undefeated and beat both the East and West champs.

Neither of course has a right to the title but you can’t argue for one without the other.

1913, 1914, 1957, 1983, 1993, 2004, 2010 - All National Championship seasons Auburn should claim

There was no SEC Championship Game in 1984. Florida could have theoretically beaten Auburn in a hypothetical rematch in 1993.
