This ain’t got shite to do with Jacob Hester. This is a whole arse response thread about the talking points being used by rivals about UT’s offense. Specifically, it’s about how NFL teams view the offense and the impact that opinion has on draft picks and thus recruiting.
Jacob Hester can talk all he wants about how great the offense is. And in his defense, Huepel is at UT to win games, not get players drafted. However, much like Malzahn, his ability to win games will be hampered due to his inability to recruit players into an offense that doesn’t get players drafted.
Huepel hasn’t had a single skill player on offense drafted higher than the 3rd round. That is and will be problematic for his program.
