Kinda wish Long would have been tossed.
No idea why he acted like that (ie if those guys know each other) but no place for it either way with nothing happening in the game prior.

Weird play by the State catcher. Heckuva play by the State defense, and then the catcher loses his sh*t for no discernible reason.
The Georgia runner was clearly out, but I'm not sure what they can do with a 'malicious conduct' ruling. Which it clearly was.

More weirdness. The runner is clearly out, I get that. No malicious conduct? Not sure I understand that. Then a review of post play contact? I guess the catcher is gone.

So you have to have 2 separate reviews. One for the tag which obviously nothing happened there. Then you have another after the tag which required the ump to move the catcher

If an ump can just toss guys for any reason at any time then why the slow motion replay. Can’t someone just say “you know what frick that guy. He’s done” and we move on.

Malicious conduct just means he didn’t do anything malicious to impede the runner (I.e. tackle Carter to prevent him scoring). Play is over once tag is applied. Everything after is easily worthy of objection. Only question I guess is they’re tossing others for leaving the dugout?
