I've said all along Seth is a good player and will be in the NFL. Bad snaps weren't an issue in 2022. He didn't forget how to snap. There were a lot of underlying issues with the o-line in general, and ability wasn't one of them.
People prefer an easy scapegoat - "them handful of bad snaps is the reason fer are problems, Pawl!" That's a lot easier than any nuanced and multi-faceted answer, especially when that scapegoat left the team and you're free to blame him.

I'm fine with that, I guess. He has the potential to be great, especially if the new staff can help him with foot quickness.

Probably not. He probably got to Iowa and saw the huge discrepancy in the programs.
Also, when you leave a small town somewhere and go back later, it seems a lot smaller than it did before and a lot of the homesickness you had will go away.

I don't think that anyone believes that Seth's bad snaps were the reason for all of our problems, but they definitely made a significant difference in the biggest game of the season that went to OT. I don't think that he forgot how to snap, but he clearly had the yips. It happens. I played center in HS, and it happened to me. Is what it is.
I think that he will probably be a good NFL guard, or center if he can fix the snaps.

You overestimate people.
We have fans that think Milroe was one of the best QB'S in the country, but Seth was our downfall.
