These UK recruits need to start asking themselves why not orange and blue…

Barnes is a dang good coach but Bruce’s personality should win them all.

LSU won’t be down long, Arkie won’t frick around long either, Oats is a very good recruiter. Buzz, Beard, and dude at MSU all good coaches. I think the UK dominance over the conference is done. Granted they will invest more than any fanbase so they will always be at the top.
We definitely need to capitalize while Bruce is here.

Getting a little nervous for tomorrow

Would kinda like to see us go after Achor for Samford in the off-season, might make a decent Jaylin replacement.

Samford got fricked on that foul call and was a beautiful block. Can’t say it cost them the game but would have been a run out 5 on 4 down 1.

No worries Bruce can’t put Lior in. Plus someone already said we were winning by 30

Dont be nervous baw. We should be fine in this game. I dont think Auburn will overlook Yale and our guys will be fine.
Im looking forward to another big win and move on to the second round.
And I think you have had just about enough fun with these guys lately.

They did end up on the wrong side of that call but it all comes down to the little things. If they don’t miss 10 free throws they win

With MSU, UK, and SC going down in the first round, maybe the SEC is a bit over-rated this year.

I would hope it’s because of the gauntlet. If the SEC is over-rated then we should have breezed by.

Well, you can guarantee the announcers and probably a good amount of the crowd will be against us (hopefully the Auburn fans can be as loud as the Samford fans were in Salt Lake last night).
We just need to take care of business, have a good size half time lead, and don't let up.

The SEC proved itself over the course of the season as the 2nd or 3rd best conference and was deserving of 8 bids. 2 of the teams that lost yesterday just lack offensive punch for the tourney and UK has really been up and down all season. If Kentucky could have squeaked by the first round game they had a chance to make a real run but a first round upset was always in the cards with them.
UT, AU are easily the best equipped for the first couple of rounds and Bama got a draw that favors them so I expect them to win a couple as well. Would not surprise me to see the Aggies or Florida win a game or two each.
The SEC already proved itself. It's ok to point and laugh (although maybe be ready to get some of it back later)

I find it interesting teams that do well in conference tournaments are kicking arse while season Champs are struggling

If nothing else, I expect Auburn's guards to be pissed today.

i just hope we get over the first game jitters quickly and settle in. Always nervous about the first one

All that noise wasn’t coming from the Sanford fans. They were coming from every fan (minus Kansas) rooting for the upset. If the game is tight, you best believe the rest of the arena in Spokane will do the same.
