Not everyone bases their marriage on antiquated customs. The days of an easy name change are over. The red tape and hoops you have to jump through at government agencies to change a name is unbelievable.

Just had a daughter do so a month ago. Zero issues. Other daughter didn’t have any problems with it either.

I went with my wife in 2012 and it took about 3 hours total including driving to get her name changed. We did it all before lunch.

You have no clue what you're talking about.
