Having noticed some of our Auburn fans here have played D1-D2 sports.. let’s have fun and do a HS/ College sports sound off…
•HS - Wrestled
•College - N/A (offered acceptance at Cornell, but declined bc of cost - probably could have made the team as a backup)

HS - professional motocross
College - sold my motorcycle and car to pay tuition and buy mobile home. Lol.

HS- played basketball baseball tennis and soccer. Basketball was main sport
College- had some d2/3 offers for basketball and a d3 offer for soccer. Was going to try and walk on at Auburn for basketball and blew acl mcl and lcl April of senior of high school and decided that was it

I think I would be content being a Walk-On at AU rather than D2 also! Sorry about the leg.

Cornell University? My son was getting letters and emails about running at "Cornell" and I was thrilled until I found out it was Cornell College...In Iowa I think

HS I played the big 3 since I went to a smaller school.

Yea I knew I wanted to focus on academics at the college level mainly so that’s why I went to Auburn. When I blew my knee I gained 35 pounds in 2 months and filled out a lot going into my freshman year. I could hold my own in the rec center against some of the other walk ons but I never got back into shape enough really to make a serious effort at trying out
