Making the kid wear "247 Transfer Portal" twitter handle on the practice jersey is fricked up. That's purely ostracizing and embarrassing the kid to his peers so that he will leave.

I did not like the way tuberville handled that one guy and I dont like the way Deion handles making players leave. If its a business dont choose bushleague methods of telling the kid to hit the road. Karma is just as consistent as I am as well.

The NFL will cut without notice, and lock you out of the facility. I'm not saying Deion is right, as much as I prefer to know where I stand with someone at all times. I had bosses who kept it real with me and never lied or pretended to care, so when I got laid off or fired it didn't surprise me. I was already looking for another job anyway. I had bosses (in my youth) who pretended to be my buddy, and even assured me that I would get a raise or promotion that never came. As a grown man I've learned that the truth, no matter how harsh is better. Deion is teaching them a tough lesson they'll need for the rest of their lives. Produce or get out.

Hugh Freeze has done the same thing, but with a smile and kind words since he got to Auburn. Yes, he's above the theatrics that Deion seems to enjoy, but successful coaches have to be cut throat to a certain degree. Peyton Thorne mentioned guys not buying in, now magically those guys are gone correct? Lol The Same thing is currently happening here and I'm happy about that.

I am not saying dont cut kids. If Hugh says "we need your spot, here is our letter of recommendation, let us know if we can help any further, but your talents are no longer wanted here so please turn in your locker room badge by the end of the day" there would be nothing wrong with it. Freeze at one time recruited him after all. If Freeze recruited him and was wrong its his fault not the kid's, so being ugly to the kid is pathetic.

I am saying be professional about it. Deion isnt very professional despite who he thinks he is.

Agree big time. Got no problem with coaches cutting players. Part of the job, but be a man about it. Just cut the kid, don’t shame them to the point that the team turns on them and that’s what forces them to transfer.

It's a business, like you said. It being a business it calls for some professionalism. It's not WHAT Dieon did, but HOW he did it. I like Dieon, I wanted Dieon, I'm glad we didn't get Dieon now

You can do all of that without publicly embarrassing the kid in front of his peers.

The public theatrics of Prime are a turn off for me sure, but NFL organizations are known for creating false narratives for fans and even paying reporters to write false stories during contract negotiations. (This doesn't make it Ok), but I can tell you that this is just a preview of how life will treat them. Deion is not hiding his feelings or pretending to be their buddy if they aren't playing well or giving effort. Several of the guys he did this to were disrespectful to S&C staff and academic professors.

Saban was known for being a jack and a half to players while he processed to them. I'd rather we just be up front with each other about what our relationship as employee boss actually is from day 1. Don't smile at me, invite me to company picnics, and call us "family" when I'm gone the first moment I'm no longer an asset. I don't expect many to agree, but personally I've had both and will take the harsh truth.

This dude most likely won't play in the NFL at all if he couldn't get on the field for Colorado. If the kid won't enter the portal after Deion told him to transfer then cut the scholarship and handle it in private. There is zero reason to publicly humiliate him. I'm not seeing the correlation between being honest with him and having to embarrass him. I don't feel like that's some crazy opinion.

His son is acting like a dick too. NFL teams love QBs that act like dicks to their teammates

Didnt realize it but Jay Fair transferred to USC to play for Lincoln Riley.

Great transfer destination for him.

Not sure if it’s been posted yet but Pinkston put in a prediction for Shull to AU. Thornton turning things around on the recruiting trail.

He joins Wiltfong and Simmons on predictions for Shull to Auburn. I thought the more interesting part is that he labeled Broderick Shull a soon to be 5*. On3 has him as the #5 OT currently

As an OT taking on DE's trying to bull rush and speedrush this is what comes to mind.

YOU SHULL NOT PASS!

Deion is a dickhead with none of the wins to back it up, a team full a bad attitudes and big egos. Saban was a dick too, but he actually won.

Shull had a school play that he was in the other day and as far as I know Thornton was the only coach there. That was the moment I thought we had that one locked up.

As most have been saying, OL is a relationship business more than anything. Good to see the progress showing up on the trail though.

Kind of nice to see other schools at that level want our kids versus them going in the portal.....and not even their mother will pick them up
