Looks like the turnover crisis may be coming to a head, based on Mason's comments here.

I'm not in favor of burning Shurmur's redshirt, but JMac's 10 interceptions in 6 games are completely unacceptable...

At the least, he's putting JMac on blast. I don't mind it. I would prefer to keep Shurmur's RS intact, but if Kyle is clearly better and can protect the ball, we could still win 5 or 6 games this year. Without turnovers, Missouri, Houston, UT, and UK are all winnable going forward.

I've always been for redshirting to give more time to grow and to just get to enjoy another year of the guys at Vanderbilt.

But being and NFL coaches son I'd say if any Freshman is prepared mentally to play that he'd be on the short list.

I can't believe Pat Shurmur is happy with being forced to run Chip Kelly's offense. I'm not a fan of changing systems again...but could we give him a call?
