I had not realized until I saw the video linked below, that all 19 strikeouts were swinging strikes and all appear to have been futile attempts to hit his slider...

Yup. Didn't realize it either until after I got home and saw the replay. What an electric atmosphere at the Hawk. Glad that I was there to witness history.

Somebody on Anchor of Gold had pointed out they were all swinging through 14 Ks, so I kept track of the last 5.
