Thinking of some win-wins for the future, in the next 5-7 years, would you be cool if Richt left his post as HC of Football to become the next Director of Athletics?

Honestly, I think he'd be a much better AD than a football coach. And he's not a horrible coach.

I just put something similar on the rant...make Richt a Football office position, if not AD...and promote Pruitt to HC.

Thats my dream. Its not going to happen, but its my dream

I'll support him in anything in life other than being the coach of UGA football. He did A LOT for UGA football, but it might be good to see someone else in charge.

College athletic departments are big businesses at this point. Football coaches aren't trained to run big businesses, so no.

No because I think McGarrity is a million times better in that position than the Richter. If he can't manage a game vs. Bama how is he gonna manage a multi-million dollar program. I didn't like having Dooley as AD either. NO THANKS!

Guys.....Richt will be here until he retires. Embrace it.

No. He has a hard time firing people and I'd hate for programs to go through 2-3 years of below average before he decides to let someone go.

I'm confused about this situation . I have always supported Richt but it seems like he has hit the ceiling and at a certain point we have to rip off the band-aid. Just my opinion though and I will support this team no matter what.

Your QB looks like he rode in the space shuttle with his head out the window

Absolutely not. Richt is a believer in not embarrassing the other team and letting up when ahead. Do we want that idea permeating every program? I like Richt and believe he is a very good HC and a fine person. He is respected by most everyone that knows of him, and that reflects on the football team and the entire university.

Please, the guy had to be dragged kicking and screaming into opening up the purse stings for added asst coaches,IPF and facility upgrades.

He's nothing than a yes man for whoever is in charge.
Be it Adams,Leebern or Morehead.

Why would he be worthy of such a job? He lacks the qualifications and He struggles enough with just one sport to oversee.

This right here is why he should never be allowed near the AD job.
