Another record of note is richt is now tied for second all time in wins in school history. Win over bama would give him sole possession of second

If he doesn't, then we lose very badly. Like 42-17 bad.

I don't think he gets it running on the inside and if Lambert has trouble with the pass and they stack the box he may not get it at all. Coker gets sloppy when he's pressured, but so did Lambert when Vandy blitzed him.

Their special teams look solid as well. We will need to be firing on all cylinders next week in order to get the job done.

Just have to root for the good guys and hope for the best.

It will be in our best interest for Alabama to stack the box

Chubb will not be subbed out like has been. He'll carry it 30 times. He'll get 100.....the question is whether or not we can stop Henry and Drake

He should get subbed out as Michel is a beast in his own right. I would like to see Chubb at RB and MIchel in the slot and call some plays with Michel in motion. That way you could hand it off to Chubb or Michel or either keep it and then pass it to either one of them. No LB or DB will be able to handle them.

Chubb will get subbed out like normal, but he won't be retiring early. He'll play as late as we need him.

He gets his hundred, but we need to worry about stopping Henry/Drake from getting theirs.

It's nut cutting time now. No more vanilla schemes and playing safe. It's time for the balls to drop and push the chips all in. October is going to show if we are men or boys. Damn is it Saturday yet?

Damn right. Next week is huge.

If we come out with Chubb and Sony in the same package with the option to either hand it to one or dump to the other we may not win but we'll certainly give 'em hell.

My thinking is pound it up the guts...like LK been giving it to KS. If they commit to stop NC and SM, let GL dump it over the top. Come on Saturday and frig BAMA

If the team is half as pumped as the fans will be next Sat then it's gonna be a helluva game. They're going to play a lot of press and look to their 5 stars to clog up the middle. I would rather not go into the teeth of their front and spread them out with quick dumps, screens and Chubb bouncing outside.

I hope our Oline is ready to man up.

I think we have the lineman and linebackers to stop that big frick this year. I think we will have more problems with smaller backs.

He is but I think they'll be in the field together a lot. Accounting for Chubb and Sony along with Mitchell and Blazevitch would be a nightmare for them. Last time we played them Gurley got most of the carries because Richt thought he was better between than Marshall.

the only way chubb will not eclipse 100 this year is in a situatino like yesterday where we have a game well in hand and turn to backups early. If he gets 20 carries and we NEED him to win, he'll get it. Easily.

I also noticed the entire first half yeseterday, EVERY carry he got was a simple handoff straight up the middle (with shite blocking to boot). We didn't do any sweeps, pitches, counters..nothing. I have to imagine that was on purpose. Kinda like how we all lamented playcalling the first 2 games then looked like a dominant force against a real (at least, we thought at the time) opponent in SC.

We looked bad to start yesterday but we'll look different next wknd.

Kolton and our TEs blocked pathetically yesterday. They need to be better against Bama, or we could be in some trouble.
