I graduated with Micheal Ages in Morrow HS c/o 99. He was highly recruited by UGA but couldn't make the grades. He went on to play for Holtz at South Crackalina. Last I heard from him he wrote something derogatory on my Facebook page after the whoopin USCe put on us this year so I defriended him.
Also, not football, but I graduated with Mary Beth Lycett who played basketball for the DAWGS. She is now married to someone we all know, Kirby Smart.

Coached kids that ended up at UGA, GT, UK, Ga State, Purdue, Boston College and a ton of smaller schools.

Dawayne Slay took my OLB spot when i was a junior and he was a Freshman. He played at Texas Tech and is with some arena team. His brother is Darius Slay from Ms State.

Connor and Jaybo Shaw. I'm sure you know where one is, and the other is/was a Ga Southern. That's the only two I know of the top of my head.

Eldridge Milton - Clemson University, played 1 season with the Chigago Bears.

Neither played D1, but both played college ball at Henderson State University.
Was friends with Jim Hendley, who played at FSU from 1982 to 1986 (think he got a medical redshirt, not sure). He also played 1 season for the Atlanta Falcons .. 1987 I think. Last I heard he was coaching high school ball in Florida somewhere.
Didn't know him, but played in a state playoff game against Herschel when he was a senior at Johnson County. We got our asses reamed by the soon to be Bulldog legend!

Played JV baseball against Adam Wainwright with St. Louis and dont remember him being that good.

I played against Derek Dooley in High School. He was at Clarke Central, I played for Forsyth Central.I was doing warm ups before the game and looked in the stands and Vince and Barb were there.BTW got our asses kicked...lol

Porter...when did you coach in Douglas? and which school? Lithia, DC, Alexander, Chapel Hill?

see above...i was at Alexander from 95-99
my mom is a teacher at DC...
i actually went to Lithia for a stint in 9th grade too...i had a little trouble that year...
