better but if you are going to get called for holding, could it at least be the hold than opens the run for a touchdown as opposed to being 15 yards away. Couldn't we have one coach just for special teams? Receivers and TEs catch and block. One coach could coach them leaving room for a special teams coach.

In order to understand this hire, Dawg fans need to think on a little different level. The QB position (and Gurley's FU) were our main hold backs last season. CMR doesn't want that to happen again. Mason is a great kid, but not a great leader. Schott will always attract top-rated NFL prospects. Who cares what his pro career was like. He had to work with what the front office furnished him. He'll run a CMR offense and have gunslingers behind center. The pieces are in place.

Pretty sure you are critical of Mark Richt sometimes as well. Just because I don't understand the jubilation and anointment and I'm not satisfied with 8 or 9 wins every year doens't make me less of fan. So stop being a shitty admin and get off my nuts.

I am ALWAYS critical of Richt. And Greg. And I am blunt with my assessment of the program. But there's that and shitting on every thread going. Being mad about what we have accomplished under Richt is our god given right but it's a long offseason. At least spread out the disappointment. We haven't even made arrest season yet.

The only threads I have been in are the coaching changes threads where you know...fans are discussing candidates. I bring up how shitty each of these candidates are by pointing out the production or lack there of and now that's considered shitting on the thread. It's just rare to see many more negative than myself and when I find them I worry for their souls knowing how much hate I have in my heart. Idk man, my thinking is that UGA is doing more this year than have in the past so it's at least a step in the right direction. You know, deep down, that the school isn't fricking up same as usual. Maybe it is a bad hire but, hey, they aren't hiring internally any more. And then there's Pruitt. And he makes my heart sing.

Mark RIcht was fiercely loyal for years until he almost got ran out of town. Willie Martinez almost got him fired. Hiring Lilly would send the wrong message.
I give them credit for taking a shot at an unknown. I prefer proven commodities but with our cash restraints it's just not going to happen at Georgia. The fact that we got Pruitt was a miracle.
