Hell, I'm not sure we could beat U of L the way they're playing tonight.

And then there was the second half when they tried to give it away. GA would bitch slap louisville.

Louisville has a great offense when Bridgewater is hot but Florida and LSU both have the same problem: their offenses suck. I would guess UGA could beat UL in a shootout type game. Also, I think our defense would be better at disrupting Louisville's offense. But you never know. Our defense sure looked lost much of the game against Nebraska.

Louisville has no running game so we would have been fine. That has been our Achilles. Hell we just beat a mobile qb in a shootout.

Didn't they have to pick Florida because they were in the top three in the BCS?

Correct, though had several coaches not obviously shafted UGA in their rankings it's possible it might have been closer. The conference championship game is going to screw some team once playoffs are in effect. The better team goes to the championship while the other team stays home... Different from last year where most would have assumed LSU/Alabama were clearly stronger than UGA.

yea, a little less than 7000 of their 17500. and to make matters worse the attendance was like 59k which is the worst since the 1939 sugar bowl and it was only 5000 more people than ULL vs ECU in this years new orleans bowl

Oh yes we could. Fla has no QB, no WRs and no Pass Rush. That is what was needed to beat Louisville. UGA has all of that and would have hammered Louisville.

They thought they should have been in a better bowl, playing a better team. Since when has the Sugar Bowl became a consolation bowl?

I guess the fans cared about as much for going to the game as the Gators did playing in the damn thing. What precious little of my life that I actually spent watching the Florida game last night they looked dispirited and more or less like they just didn't give a frick. Absolutely no passion. I'm glad they got their shite kicked in. I wanted to see the SEC roll, but frick Flawda.
