Horrible news brother. Wife lost two before we had our daughter in March. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Knee, I'm just finding this post....so sorry for the belatedness.

I'm terribly sorry to hear this news. I cannot fathom how you must feel. As a father of two and with a wife who is about the same amount of time into her third pregnancy as your wife was, I hurt to think of how devastating this must be. We had a bit of a scare with our pregnancy this week (and we're still waiting on some test results to be sure all is good), but I can tell you the amount of stress on us this last week was palpable. I know you guys have been dealing with this for a couple of weeks or more now and I just feel heartbroken for you both and what you're dealing with. I wish that words could help and maybe in some way or another they can. In any case, I will be praying for you both and hope that God will give you a peace that only He can. As human beings, we'll never fully understand the "whys" and "hows", but we must have faith that no loss and no negative circumstance will be wasted. God doesn't make bad things happen to us, but He can most definitely take those things and use them for good. It will take time...but you will feel better. Be there for your wife, first and foremost. You are her rock and this is what marriage is all about.

You have my thoughts and prayers and know that if anyone understands your pain, God does. Where you are, He has been. Take your hurt to Him as often as you need to. If you need another human, we're all here for you, too. I was reminded after reading your post how trivial this game of football really is. In the last few hours, we've started countless threads about our woes today, but here in the thick of it is a post that brings us back to Earth and reminds us of what is truly important in life.

Hold your head high, brother. Much love to you and God bless you and your wife.
