Kid is better than Marquette Dwayne Wade. Solid shooter and facilitator. Leadership qualities there as well.

I hope that the DAWGS can grow up a little bit after the last 2 games. Keep the intensity they had going in the 2nd half. Proud of them for not giving up and pushing hard. Down 28 with 16:28 left in the 2nd half and got it to within 2 before losing 85-93. Was 33-61 at the 16:28 mark. Went on a 52 to 32 run. Keep growing DAWGS!!!

This is textbook Crean. Teams show up with no pulse....and didn't play a lick of D the entire game. Sure, this is a lesson learned....but one that was learned yesterday and will be repeatedly learned this season. Over and over and over.

Dude we are freaking Georgia. Our last two coaches were Mark Fox and Dennis Felton. I don’t think we have won a tournament game this century. Who do you expect us to hire? There’s more excitement around the program than we’ve had in a decade

I mean the round of 32 or even making the tournament back to back years would be amazing. I’m sure if Crean stays for 10 years and we turn into a perineal second weekend team and he can’t get over the hump people will get frustrated, but criticizing his work so far is laughable.

The Purdue symbol there leads me to believe there are other factors contributing to the Crean hate.

I’m a UGA grad. Purdue fan by birth. Was a student during the Felton years.
I think the team is very talented. Not talented enough to overcome the complete lack of defense this coach teaches.
I’m not a fan of Crean. He’s just flat out not an elite coach. My choice was always Ron hunter from State. It’s not a sexy splash but the dude is a good coach, decent recruiter and could have set up the program for some sustained success.
Crean is a snake oil salesman. He’ll get some great players but he also got blackballed from Indiana High Schools late in his IU tenure because of his recruiting lies and screwing over players. IU is still pretty awful 3 years removed from Crean. Not that I mind, but I don’t want him to do that same level of damage to this program.
I know recruiting nattys are all the rage in football, but in basketball if you can’t develop guys, the star rankings next to their name don’t mean shite.

I’d argue basketball recruiting matters more than football recruiting.

I would be happy if we could build the program to a point where we make the tournament far more often than not, and win a couple of tournament games.
I still don't know how Florida won two titles. They weren't any better until they hired Donovan.
