Amazing we won that game with 1 pass for 13 yards. They just keyed on HW every play. Our defense was awesome. I would love for the true Junkyard Dawgs toughness to come back.

I think that was Terrance Edwards, not the TE, who caught that ball. Who said he couldn't catch the big time pass?

BTW, that play...I mailed that diagram to Donnan. He would have been nothing without my help.

UGA, 1-13 passing and still win. Classic Dooley and Erk Russell.

It was. He was using Edwards's initials referring to him.

I'm getting ripped and really getting into this.

I've watched the Georgia vs. Notre Dame Game mamy times. Here are a few things I've forgotten or never noticed.

1. Georgia should have won 24-10. Dooley called a cunning play at the end of the 1st quarter. A long bomb to Carnie Norris. The Irish were not expecting a fast running tight end. Too bad he dropped the ball. Otherwise, it would have been 24-3 at that point. Aside from that play, the offensive options kind of sucked. Belue played better than the statistics suggest.

2. The goofy looking referee who made a couple of calls I couldn't make heads or tails out of.

3.SEC network chose to skip Scott Woerner's interception in the endzone. (Unless I missed it because of varous alcoholic factors.) He was the player of the game...in my opinion.

4. The average size of the offensive line was 260lbs. About 40 pounds lighter than those of today.

5. Notre Dame's defense was almost completely white. Lou Holtz put an end to that BS. But that defense was top knotch. don't want to get into this too much but I belive African Americans began to be more common in the NFL long before college ball. Show me the money.

Now, can't wait to see Georgia beat Steve Spurrier. !#%! Goff should have done it in 1992.

Oh, I thought tight end.

Man I had forgotten how loaded the 1999 team was. And they went 8-4. That team should have oontended for a national title. Quincy Carter, Patrick Pass, Marcus Stroud, Terrance Edwards, Josh Mallard, Kendrell Bell, and couple others I forgot.

I would get super pissed about that failure, but it was too long ago and I am too drunk. Donnan was a good recruiter but he sucked as a game time coach. Richt was without a doubt a knotch better. If only Richt could have retained him as a recruiter.

I guess that would have been too complicated a situation. But in the business world. They make things like that work. Can't do that in the egostical world of college football.

The playcalling was so, so creative early in this UF game.

One thing I remember about Jim Donnan was his creativity. His offenses were fun to watch
