I think there would be a good bit of red and black in ND Stadium if this happens.

I was stating a fact. You were bitching. Take your bitching to another thread.

I would say 3-7 against the better than average non-conference teams over the last 5 years is worthy of my comment (excludes Tech) 8-7 if you want to count them. Nothing to be proud of.

He is 100% right to be fair.

How many of you were convinced we would beat Boise, Clemson, UCF, or Colorado?

Colorado was really embarrassing.

We prefer big matchups in September over big matchups in January....

that makes sense. from 09-11 we weren't really that good of a football team.

Last 2 years we are 3-2 vs. BCS opponents outside the SEC.

During Richt's tenure at UGA we are 27-10 against that same group (I'm including the loss to UCF and Boise and the wins vs. Boise and Hawaii even though they weren't technically BCS opponents).

The bad stretch was 2010 (1-2) and 2011 (1-2). Overall Richt has a great track record in these games, just depends on if you see us moving toward our 2002-2007 status or moving toward our 2009-2011 status.

Look...I was at every one of those games

I was just talking about the recent 5 years. The Richt era is getting too darn long to lump together. I sat through the loses at OSU (Opener), CU, UCF, BSU (opener), MSU, Clemson (opener), and Nebraska.

Generally, I believe it is fair to say we haven't shown up in the biggest no conference games in recent years.

. Agree. From the standpoint of an OOC team wanting to bag a win against a traditional top 20 SEC team, UGA is a pretty good pick. We have a penchant for playing down to, or even below, the level of lesser opponents, especially in OOC games.
