I agree but JJ is the guy that usually provides our energy and emotion. Bama missed 4 straight FTs for us, didn't hit a FG for 6 straight minutes and we couldn't get it to single digits. Team just a complete no show tonight. Sad cause we still had the tournament to play for. Probably dead now.

I completely agree...commenting on what you said earlier If they shut JJ down we struggle and JJ is kinda streaky.

We probably won't hear what the conference says about this but I'd love to hear their thoughts on the officiating.
These rules are supposed to speed the game up so the commish came to the perfect game.

The fact that you are calling me a dumbass gives me comfort. Especially seeing how the closest you have stepped to any athletic arena is the slow pitch softball field.

Really we got beat by A&M twice and we only played them once. We are done as far as the NCAA goes...I'll admit it.

Too bad cause we played great for stretches at TAMU. Hold on in the last minute of that one (or in Gainesville) and this whole season looks different. Instead we are heading into a brutal stretch of Texas, @UK, @SC, Florida and probably looking at competing to get back in the NIT and completely out of real tourney discussion. Depressing.

Texas is playing their best basketball of the season too. I wouldn't be shocked if the spread is like UGA -2 or something like that.

A couple weeks ago, I told you I was in college during the harrick years, yet you reach a conclusion that I am an old grandpa? What a brilliant mind you have.
It's sad that fox is the best coach you have seen at uga, but it makes sense as to why you support him so vehemently. Til the bitter end I imagine.

Doubledawg is quite the enigma. Unlike over 90% of other "UGA Fans" he does seem to actively watch and support the basketball program. Hat tip there. Yet, in a game thread on the SECR last night, even AFTER the clobbering, he still belived that fox is "a great coach".
It's odd. First and foremost I appreciate that we actually have another active UGA bball follower (there aren't a ton of us), but how could someone who regularly watches and follows the program think on 1/26/17 that fox is a "great coach"?

I think Fox is a great developer of big men, an above avg. coach, an avg. recruiter, and a below average in game coach/manager of player rotations.
I will say college basketball recruiting tougher to rate IMO, just because it matters so much how many spots you have available.
I really just wish we could fall into a situation like TCU, but unfortunately that isn't the case.

I saw that "great coach" claim, and just shook my head. There is no hope for someone like that.
