Can't remember the site but I saw an article a little while ago that cited some coach from his HS receiving a text from TT (Yeah I know, he said she said yadda yadda) saying he was starting Saturday. Thoughts? I've been happy enough with our DL play this year...coming in it was probably teh biggest question mark on teh team aside from QB but they've gotten after it. Trent has looked alright in 4th quarter mopup time but hasn't done all that much in crunch time. I know Bama's OL isn't nearly what they have been, but I'm curious if there's an injury we aren't disclosing or if we just think now is the time to unleash him and throw him into the fire.

LINK

That's the link. We'll see I guess.

ETA: Trent actually played a lot in I think the second quarter against USCe and did pretty well.

Eh. He'll obviously play but we've been solid on the line this far with starters

Going big in the rain, imagine we'll see a ton of 4-3 anyways vs Bama...

If we go 4-3 I could understand him getting the start alongside Atkins, Mayes, and Bailey. But I don't think he starts over any of those guys just yet

Pretty stout front 4 IMO... Consensus is we've gotta be stout up the middle on the run & make Coker beat us...

O.J. Howard worries me, hope the DE's/LB's can chip/cover him effectively.

Can't find the link right now but I read a copied tweet earlier today that Coker is 1 of 15 on throws(in the air) longer than 15yds...

That's what I'm thinking, Atkins and Mayes haven't done anything to lose playing time from what I've seen. If TT is starting then I guess we're just giving Bama a different look up front compared to what we've showed so far.

I'd put Floyd on Howard or Scarborough every time

Light that beasts fuse and turn him loose IMO. Wreckless talent over lesser talent with experience.

This is no time to leave your thoroughbreds in the stable..... bring em out!

I thought Davin was questionable for the game and that is where it was coming from...

I just hope we come out like rabid dawgs on both sides of the line and stay aggressive the whole game. If TT gives us that then let the dawg eat!
