Honestly, I’m kinda surprised we haven’t had bigger names enter up to this point. That tells me that our culture is really good and the kids are continually buying into the “patience pays” concept.

This one sucks. Thought he would be looking to start next year.

Would have been unlikely. Next year at ILB you’ll have a rotation of CJ Allen, Jalon Walker when he’s not rushing on the outside, and Raylen Wilson. Justin Williams, the incoming Uber athletic 5 star is a Sorey type.

Troy may end up being great but he’s considered a bit more of a project I think at this point.

I know. He wasn’t an early enrollee, had injuries, blah, blah. Next season he will have gone through spring practice and two fall camps. I think he will come along.

I’m all for you being right. The more good guys the better. We lost 1.5 this year with JDJ going out then Mondon being hurt. Need a bunch of talented guys.

Wasn’t trying to be rude. I hope we’re right about him! Go Dawgs!

He is a spitting image of Roquan Smith coming out of high school. Around the same height and weight and rated about the same. Bowles has put on weight and should be hard to keep off the field next year.

Something really has to be done about the portal. To much tampering.

Yep. But that cat is out of the bag and they don't have the guts to close it up. How much of that is other teams/fans/"writers" stirring up shite?

From Rusty mansell
"There is some smoke to this Julian Humphrey stuff going around. I am not sure what he will do, but I am told by a few sources he is listening to schools closer to home for him. Something we will obviously keep a tab on here if we hear anything."

I’m not trying to derail this thread and o trust our coaches, but this isn’t that surprising to me considering it took until the 9th game of the season for him to get significant pt and when he did it seemed pretty obvious he was at the very least Everette’s equal, if not better. That’s gotta be frustrating for him. And the whole Texas being good thing now gives all these Texas kids somewhere to go in state. It was nice when every school in Texas in the P5 was 8-4 at best.
