I honestly went out there to look at them and I didn't like it. Don't get me wrong the picture is amazing if you're sitting directly in front of it, but anywhere to the sides and the curve of it is weird.

Do you know what size you were looking at? What I read was that IF you get a curved set it should be at LEAST 55" or you lose the "sweet" spot for a good picture quickly.

MOST, if not all of the curved sets have the 4k (enhanced HD) pictures....keep in mind you can get a 4k set without the curve, which MIGHT be the way to go. As somebody pointed out earlier, there is very little 4k content out there. I have heard, though, that standard HD looks better on a 4k set, just not as good as 4k content would be. I think Netflix has some 4k content, and more tv stations/networks are slowly moving in that direction. I also tend to agree if you wait a couple of years you will have more content available and the sets will be cheaper. But...as with all technology, there will be another new and greater thing!

I never saw a color TV unil I was 15 years old and went to a buddys house in the country club area. First central air conditioning I saw in a house too.
I was embarrassed to realize I was staring at the TV like it was a space ship.
