This will be one of many things he said he was going to do that he'll abandon.

However, his first 100 day commitments and picking at least 2 SCOTUS seats will more than make up for it.

It is the American way.

For the record, I am rooting for him to be a successful President. Not sure why people dont hope for the best.

Without getting into the merits of it, she still got cleared twice by the FBI. That's more than enough to establish "reasonable doubt" assuming she would have even a single minimally competent defense attorney.

Make me prosecutor with subpoena power and I would be able to convict either Hillary or Trump of multiple felonies. But, in the USA, felons rule.

I'm pretty sure that the FBI said that she did it. They never cleared her.

They said that they couldn't prosecute to get a conviction.
That would be like the LA district attorney saying that they know OJ killed Nicole but that they know that they can't get a conviction against his resources and the remnants of evidence. In case you are wondering, the FBI doesn't prosecute you with the hope that they get a conviction. All of the back room dealings were bringing to light how bad a prosecution resulting in a not guilty verdict would be. The FBI saved face by not prosecuting.

They recommended "do not indict." That pretty much means "if you're stupid enough to actually try to charge her, she'll skate and assrape your career on the way out the door."

And the FBI doesn't prosecute - the DoJ does through the USAG.

Thanks for the correction. You probably know that fbi investigations that lead to indictments have a 97% rate of the defense pleading guilty. The conviction rate of the remaining 3% is well over 50%. So roughly 99% of fbi investigations that lead to charges have defendants guilty in the courts.

The FBI does not do 'messy' which is what a recommendation for indictment against Hillary and her resources would have been.

The FBI is good at what they do most frequently--investigating interstate car thefts and bank robberies. White collar investigations almost always go nowhere unless there is a confession. In cases of bank fraud, the FBI looks the other way.

Or... why go spouting off "hell yeah, I'm putting her arse in jail" when there's nothing you can do about it right now? Do that, the Dems get antsy, Obama pardons her and now, you got nothing. Downplay it, leave it alone for now, maybe revive it after the new administration has been sworn in? Oh, and The NY Times? Screw those guys in particular.

Never thought he would. Tbh, the humiliation of losing the election and the reported meltdown she had are punishment enough for me.

That and the wall (which, btw, all indications are he WILL pursue) weren't why I voted for him anyway. I wanted economic growth and the Dems the frick out of power.

take it FWIW but this is a good thing, and I say this as someone who believes that Hillary is guilty of treason & deserves to be locked up...

left wingers like to make fun, but Breitbart News and other hardcore conservative outlets are actually displaying integrity in this instance, they are calling out Trump for breaking with a campaign promise, which is MUCH more than our "traditional media" ever did with Barry Hussein O.

Having said that, I think Trump is making a wise decision by not allowing a divisive persecution of Hillary to dominate the narrative as he tries to go about the business of fixing our broken economy & creating an environment where business & investments can flourish.

and for me, the endgame was SCOTUS

don't give a frick about a wall, sure, a wall woud be great, but give me TWO good Supreme Court Justices

and lower taxes

and lower health care bills

in that order

Of course they do. Bank fraud is investigated by the Secret Service.

I will happily bet

his policies will make the economy better, and that will guarantee him 2 terms

also - his policies will make it harder for illegals and felons to vote - the leftists tried real hard to steal this election, 4 more years of open border policy and no immigration enforcement & leftsist would have been impossible to beat

now we at least have a chance

This really is quite simple - the FBI director works for the AG, the AG works for obama.

No way was she going to be indicted regardless of the evidence of which there is plenty. It would be easy to indict her on several crimes.

The real problem Trump faces is the precedent that would be set by one party indicting a former high ranking member of the opposing party. Maybe A special prosecutor goes after Trump after his time in office - he does want that. I think that is the rub.
