Wrong time of the year for IPA's. If you like the white one's, try Bluepoint - it's in a can. Delish.

I don't like the white ones. I've never even heard of a white IPA. My wife brought this home, bless her heart. Made with Mosaic and Amarillo, which she knows I like.

No malt backbone. It's like a first round quarterback with no receivers. It's like a first round running back with no offensive line.

Pale malt with carapils for sweetness just doesn't balance it.

If you're in Athens- stores started carrying Cigar City's Jai Alai IPA. Almost perfect. Prolly in ATL as well.

For me, beer is like bbq. I prefer the version I make for myself. But every once in a while, you have to go with convenience and buy it.

What do yall know about Terrapin's new beer in a can? I've been a fan of Dale's for years, but never tried the Terrapin beer in a can.

It is for sale in the Athens Kroger. I don't recall the name.

I wonder how the shite Monster feels about daylight savings time?

Same hours of darkness, but.....with it getting darker "earlier" people are now awake for more of the time....when he is out collecting turds........and taking them back to his cave...........and stacking them up in a pile.............to relax upon.

RecreationAle. Very good beer in a can. Similar to Dales in that it's a pale ale and the hops are somewhat citrusy. RecreationAle is lower ABV though so its perfect for a long day outdoors.

ETA: almost picked up the New Belgium Accumulation the other day, but went with their folly pack instead because the wife loves Fat Tire. It's "feature" beer was their 2* Below Winter Ale which is good, but far from the best winter seasonal out there. Sweetwater's Festive Ale blows it out of the water.

Yes... that's the one.

Thank you for the review. However, Dales is only in the 5's so how much lower could the recreation be?

Anyone try that terrapin and Gainesville brewery creation for the ga/fl game? I was disappointed to miss that one.

I'm pretty sure Dale's is in the 6s. RecreationAle is under 5. 4.5 maybe?

I'll buy some tomorrow for The Big Game and we'll sew this up.

I like RecreationAle, but it's a better option when it's hot as balls outside. I prefer BHM this time of year.

I really like the Recreation Ale. Much better than Founder's All Day IPA, IMO. Good for gameday.

Deeprig, you're a homebrewer? All grain?

Cool. Me too. Am in the process of slowly transitioning to AG, myself. Two kids = no time.
