- Lee McCoy delaying inevitable riches/fame on the PGA tour, in order to bring a National Championship home to Athens this May.. . .

- There will be golf in the summer Olympics this year...for the first time in over 100 years..

- UGA's Bubba Watson would be one of the four to represent the united states if qualifying ended today.

- AND!. It's a Ryder Cup year..

- also, Egg salad sandwiches still only a $1.50 at the masters

- Kisner tied for second at the hawaiian tournament, currently. Bubba T8.

- Exciting times

PGA Golf! Yesssssss

So awesome that golf is thriving without Tiger.

Of course I still hope he can get on track and win another green jacket or two.

Pipeline looking great once again. Kisser's in the lead for the FedEx Cup early, and is looking to extend it.

Hopefully Kirk can play as well this weekend as he did in the last round last year at this tournament.

That is mostly attributable to Spieth, Day, Kisner, Watson, etc stepping up.

Another weekend on the PGA tour with Kevin Kisner in the final pairing.... That seems to be happening quite a bit over the past year, doesn't it?

Dude is so close to breaking through in a big big way.

Tees off in final group with Wonderboy today at 11am hawaiian.

Spieth is starting to scare me like Tiger used to.

He steps up to those 20 and 30 foot putts and you know they're going in. And then, of course, they do.

I keep waiting for his ability to do that to fade or go away. But, it hasn't. shite is spooky..

I hope he's paying JT(his coach) well. If you don't know who John Tillery is...go check him out. Georgia-boy who played college golf in the state and has become one hell of a swing coach. Dawg fan as well.

Loading up on those and draft beer all day makes for an interesting ride home.

Bingo. That putting ability is huge. I swore that Tiger must have made a deal with the devil the way he would sink putts. Especially when he had to have them. In hindsight,I think I was right.

I can't remember anyone consistently holing-out from off the green the way he has. It seems like every week he chips in at least once..and that reminds me of Tiger in his prime. He just finds a way to get it done and it's awesome to watch.

At this point, who wants Tiger back?

Besides the 'roids it's clear that Tiger isn't working as hard at golf as he did back in the day and that shows. It does suck he hasn't had a healthy month in the past 2 years though.

I think Jack's record IS NOT safe...but not because of Tiger...

I see Tiger winning 1 more major (Augusta) over the next 10 years with maybe 1 win on average per year.

I just personally hate to see one of the best players in the game struggle. Golf is better when there are "larger-than-life" figures. He was one of those. He was ridiculous when he was at his peak..

From what I heard recently on ESPN radio, it's not that Tiger isn't working hard (that's never been his MO) it's that his back is seriously messed up. I think he gave an interview recently saying that it's been so bad that at one point his back seized up while practicing in his back yard and he just laid there on the ground and waited for one of his staff to find him and help. Anyone who's had back issues knows you can't do anything let alone golf (and especially not at a high level).

Don't think. If he can't be Tiger, then the spikes get hung up.
