Name your favorite NFL team and their best player will be from the ACC

Denver Broncos
Offense: PFM, SEC
Defense: Von Miller, Big 12 (at the time)

Let's do the rest of the teams that made the playoffs last year, just for the hell of it.

AFC

New England: Tom Brady, B1G

San Diego: I could make a case for Keenan Allen last year, but we'll go with Philip Rivers, ACC

Kansas City: Jamaal Charles, Big 12

Indianapolis: Andrew Luck, Pac 12

Cincinnati: AJ Green, SEC

NFC

Seattle: Richard Sherman, Pac 12 (could make a case for quit a few, but none would be from the ACC)

San Francisco: Tough call again, but I'll go with Patrick Willis, SEC

New Orleans: Drew Brees, B1G

Carolina: Luke Keuchly, ACC

Philadelphia: LeSean McCoy, former Big East

Green Bay: Aaron Rodgers, Pac 12

There you go, 2 "best" players from the ACC. The Pac 12 actually comes out looking pretty good.

The thing that is so laughable about this theory is that it would require the NFL to be in on it. The SEC has the most players drafted consistently. These are numbers that aren't debatable. So NFL GMs, who are under enormous pressure and stand to lose millions with bad decisions will take the SEC guy more often just so that the evil conspiracy can perpetuate itself.

I'm not an "SEC fan" in any way. I love UGA and don't give a shite about who is better between Oregon, Alabama, Ohio State, Florida State, etc. But to argue the SEC isn't the best conference is absurd.
