Only 3 Georgians survived the cut.

Brian Harmon +1
Brendon Todd +2
Chris Kirk +1

Looking like it may end up being a replay of the US Open......where the leaderboard is bunched up tight with a plenty of big names near second, but one player running away with the lead. This time wonderboy, Rory McElroy with a 4 shot lead.

Weather suppose to turn to shite tomorrow morning with rain and wind though..........

I'm pulling for a 2002 repeat. I think Tiger was in contention going to the weekend, but the weather turned and he shot an 81...Need rory to fall of so I can win a pool

If Rory drops a few, this leaderboard will be stacked at the top.

Could make for an epic finish......

yeah i hope he falls back for drama's sake anyways. wouldn't mind seeing Johnson, Fowler or Sergio making a charge at him tomorrow.

Yes. It would be awesome to watch those four trading punches on Sunday morning.

Just want it to be close.

Bubba led the Masters the whole way. Kaymer led the US Open the whole way. And now Rory has led the whole way so far in this one......

Need some drama.

This is the first time in the 143-year history of the Open Championship that players will go off split tees, so what seems like a trivial change is probably causing a bit of backlash among the British purists.

frick. That sucks right there.

They usually play through the wind and rain there, but i guess it's the lighting they're worried about. Which is unusual for there, i think.

This is better than having to stop play short and finish round 3 on Sunday morning though probably.......

Yeah majors have been kind of underwhelming this year. I didn't mind it in the Masters because it was Bubba but the US Open Sunday was a snoozer. A +3 day or something for Rory tomorrow will make Sunday way more exciting.

wtf happened to ESPN's coverage? Turned it on at 11 and they were showing Johnson and Mcilroy teeing off number 1 and 20 minutes later they pick up coverage when the same group is on hole 10??

Rory has played lights out from top to bottom and deserves to win...I hope he pulls it off. It would be painful watching him choke after doing so well.

It would be great if Fowler and Dustin put some pressure on him though.....

BTW...Fowler needs a fashion consultant....somebody needs to burn that hideous flat billed Puma hat...

That sand shot was killer. Lost a shot there but the second try was beautiful.
