Can we get some final score predictions?

And/or some predictions for how you see this game shaking out, strengths/weaknesses, question marks, and that kind of thing

Also, who all is going to be in Charlotte? We are going to need operatives

Harris English of UGA with two double bogeys in last 4 holes to choke away the lead in Memphis.

5-way tie now though, so face melter finish potentially on deck

Emotional Prediction: Too many scars from UGA coming up short in these type big games, so this will probably be more of the same. Prepare for it.

Realistic Prediction: UGA can never seem to balance both sides of the ball. Either our Defense is the strength, and our Offense lacks. Or it's the other way around. So this year, we'll start out with the stronger offense, but the Defense will be the liability. Plenty of time for it to improve throughout the season though.

Birdie putt coming for Harris on #18 now to join the playoff

Edit: Rats. He missed. Still extra holes coming though. But it’s 3 gimps

Clemson - 17
UGA - 38

Dawgs win comfortably. JT starts his Heisman campaign with a bang.

I am going with:

Clemson 38
Georgia 33

For the same reasons you stated. I also think it will take a game or two for the secondary to find their legs. However, I do believe the ship is righted and the defense comes on strong after the game and the offense opens up big time.

A healthy Kirby Smart/Dan Lanning defense has never given up 38 points to any team not named Bama. I’ll stand by my prediction in the other thread:

UGA 41
Clemson 6

Honestly think it will depend on how each team makes it out of camp. Assuming neither have any significant injuries or loss of depth…..

UGA - 37
Clemson - 22

I have tons of confidence in early season Kirby hyping our guys up. Just like both ND games although those were closer than expected. I think our DL keeps just enough pressure on the young QB. JT gets comfortable quick and montken mixes up run pass to keep their D guessing. It’s close at halftime but adjustments help the Dawgs pull away late.

I honestly hope you are right and I am wrong.

With our secondary the way it is and being the first game, I just have a bad feeling about this game.

Like I said, I will be thrilled if you are right, and if you remind me, I will be more than happy to eat some crow if we win as big as you predict.

JT and the lads have a coming out party similar to Burrow and Co. in 2019 vs. Texas. 10 point win, but the offense looks potent. Defense will have some meshing/growing to do, but they step up when needed.

Caught a game featuring Uiagalelei last season and dude can chuck the ball. This is a REALLY tough game to predict without seeing how our secondary is going to look this season. UGA will have more developed talent on the field and should win, but if the secondary struggles Clemson will feast.

It's a toss up. I'll go 45-48 Dawgs.

Not particularly worried about our defense.I think we collapse their OL with our interior DL and edge rush...which obviously gives a big boost to the secondary.

I am worried our OL vs their DL.We looked somewhat confused against Cincy against their stunts and hopefully we solve those issues in fall camp and Clemson is obviously loaded at DL.

If we come out in tight man coverage like we did against Bama the officials will play a huge role in this game.

I'm not seeing a shootout here like most.I'll go 27-21 Dawgs.
