I can't get an email out on this phone for some reason? If it's concerning lease rates( guessing) i'll throw this out there. Dry land for two crops is roughly $30 acre. One crop is worth 10/15. Soil productivity is a good bargaining chip. Irrigated leases are worth around $200 .

I was actually going to let him plant it free of charge. Figured it was a win win. I'd have some food for the animals and it'd save me alot of time and money planting food plots. Then he says he needs a road 30 ft wide and said I needed to pay to have it done. Kinda pissed me off. Am I in the wrong? This guy's getting free frickin land to plant on.

If it's significant enough acreage, he'll do it himself. If it's 30-40 acres, you'll probably have to do it. Forestry dept could probably push it for you. They charge about $80-90 pr hr. If it's a short road ,probably cost you $300 .

Just a suggestion Dallas but there is an APP called LINE that could be used as well. Sets up well for group chat.
